At 1350m above sea level, the Jardin des Monts is only accessible on foot. The path that snakes sharply along the bank of a stream suddenly emerges from a grove of trees to reveal the garden with its brightly colored flowers.
Our aromatic and medicinal plants reign supreme here. Their little cultivated plots spread across old terraces held up by dry stone walls. Higher up, the chalet appears in all its glory. A scent of lemon balm, mint and chamomile is carried on the wind. All around, nature is betrothed to the mountain.
Each plant is treated with loving care and of course, everything is grown organically. The harvest, always done by hand, exchanging tender care as gardenders for a selection of the best of what the garden has to offer.
